چکیده

In irrigated agriculture, the combination of multiple regulation measures is an effective method to improve saline soil and promote crop growth. Magnetized ionized water irrigation considered a promising activation technique, while use Bacillus subtilis for amelioration environmentally friendly. this study, magnetized B. were used cotton growth under film-mulched drip (FMDI) in soil. A two-year field experiment was conducted investigate effects differing amounts two types (non-magnetized-ionized (NMIW) (MIW)) on (plant height, leaf area index, shoot dry matter chlorophyll content) yield cotton, as well content, salts accumulation, efficiency (WUE) (IWUE) FMDI southern Xinjiang. Five (0, 15, 30, 45 60 kg ha−1) NMIW (designated B0, B1, B2, B3 B4) MIW M, MB1, MB2, MB3 MB4) applied experiments. The results showed that increased content reduced accumulation 0–40 cm layers compared with B0. Moreover, significantly (p < 0.01) plant Seed yield, WUE IWUE also observed increase 0.05). Compared treatments, treatments seed by 2.1–12.2%, 0.2–9.0%, 2.1–12.2%. Under MIW, amount independent variable, quadratic function relationships established. By taking first derivative function, highest obtained 51.8, 55.0 51.4 ha−1, respectively. Based comprehensive consideration WUE, soil, ha−1 treatment recommended cultivated Xinjiang, China.

Soil particle size distribution and its relationship with soil water and salt under mulched drip irrigation in Xinjiang of China

Soil particle size distribution (PSD), one of the most important soil physical attributes, is of great importance to soil water movement, soil erosion and soil solute migration. In this study, the soil PSD of 563 soil samples from the mulched drip irrigated cotton fields in Xinjiang of China were measured by laser diffraction particle size analyzer. The soil PSD characteristics and its relation...

Lint yield and seed quality response of drip irrigated cotton under various levels of water

Restricted water resources are a limiting factor for irrigation applications throughout the world. The effects of irrigation regimes (amount) on cotton lint yield are known, but there is little information on the effect of irrigation regimes on seed quality of cotton. In this study, the effects of deficit irrigation after the onset of flowering on lint yield and seed quality of cotton (Gossypiu...

Above- and below-ground growth of cotton in response to drip irrigation under mulch film

Long-term use of drip irrigation technology may lead to root degradation and affect shoot growth and yield. A field experiment was conducted to investigate aboveand belowground growth responses to drip irrigation under mulch film (DI) in comparison to flood irrigation under mulch film (FI) in cotton. The monolith method was used to harvest roots at seven timepoints in the growth periods, and th...

Rational Water and Nitrogen Management Improves Root Growth, Increases Yield and Maintains Water Use Efficiency of Cotton under Mulch Drip Irrigation

There is a need to optimize water-nitrogen (N) applications to increase seed cotton yield and water use efficiency (WUE) under a mulch drip irrigation system. This study evaluated the effects of four water regimes [moderate drip irrigation from the third-leaf to the boll-opening stage (W1), deficit drip irrigation from the third-leaf to the flowering stage and sufficient drip irrigation thereaf...
